An Evening in the Walnut Creek Library with Bay Area Literary Stars

Authors Under the Stars 2012 was a huge success.  The sell-out crowd happily came in from the rain and started the evening with wine and a selection of over fabulous items in our Silent Auction.

The gala raised more than $50,000 which goes to support programs and adding to the collections at both of our Walnut Creek libraries.

The programs include children’s reading programs, a student poetry contest, One City One Book, and numerous Live! from the Library events, and the upcoming exhibit, “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War.”
