Be a Library Friend

The Walnut Creek Library Foundation works hand in hand with the Walnut Creek and Ygnacio Valley Friends of the Library groups, independent groups that provide volunteer and fundraising support for their respective libraries.

Through membership donations and earnings from used book sales, the Friends groups provide funds to purchase books, audiotapes, videotapes, CDs, and magazines for the libraries and to support children's and cultural programs for the community. (Click here for information on used book donations and sales.)

The Friends groups are membership organizations and welcome new members at any time. Learn more about the Friends of the Walnut Creek Library and the Friends of the Ygnacio Valley Library.
