The Walnut Creek Library Foundation has a number of committees of volunteers helping to plan events, manage communications with the community, and raise funds. If you would like to volunteer for the Library Foundation, send us an email and describe your interests.

- Volunteer as a member of the Friends of the Walnut Creek (Downtown) Library or the Friends of the Ygnacio Valley Library.
Did You Know?
The Walnut Creek Area Library Association was formed in 1952 to discuss expansion of the Carnegie Library. It took until June 1960 for construction to begin on the current Downtown Library.
