Planned Future Giving

There are a variety of ways you can make a charitable planned gift to the Library Foundation. While our donors typically make an outright gift to the foundation, you can give a more substantial amount in a number of different ways that may enhance the effectiveness of your gift or increase your tax benefits. These gifts are a vital source of the foundation’s future ability to support Walnut Creek’s libraries.

You can include the Walnut Creek Library Foundation as a beneficiary of your will or trust, as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or as the beneficiary on a retirement account. The tax benefits of these strategies frequently change but can be substantial. Please talk to your attorney or tax adviser about how you can best help the Walnut Creek Library Foundation while realizing tax benefits for yourself or your heirs.
