Planned Future Giving

There are a variety of ways you can make a charitable planned gift to the Library Foundation. While our donors typically make an outright gift to the foundation, you can give a more substantial amount in a number of different ways that may enhance the effectiveness of your gift or increase your tax benefits. These gifts are a vital source of the foundation’s future ability to support Walnut Creek’s libraries.

You can include the Walnut Creek Library Foundation as a beneficiary of your will or trust, as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or as the beneficiary on a retirement account. The tax benefits of these strategies frequently change but can be substantial.
