Finance 101: Investing in a Late-Stage Bull Market

The current Bull Market, which was born in March of 2009, has now had the longest run in American history. Portfolio Managers Mike Harris and Meredith Rosen will discuss where they see this current market as well as what investment and asset allocation considerations are out there for this late-stage Bull Market and eventual end of the Bull Market. Mike Harris oversees the Research & Trading department at Bedell Frazier, which he joined in 2006. He became a partner in 2013. He is responsible for running the research team, overseeing the active portfolio strategies for the firm, and handling in-house detailed Technical Analysis/Strategy work for the firm. He has created proprietary cycle, bond & option market signals to help navigate tough market conditions and most importantly manage risk in our client portfolios. Mike holds the Chartered Market Technician designation (CMT) and an M.B.A. with an emphasis in finance from St. Mary’s College of California, where he also received his undergraduate B.S. degree in Business Administration
Meredith Rosen has over 10 years of experience in the investment management industry. She joined Bedell Frazier in 2004 and became a partner of the firm in 2013. Shortly after joining the firm, Meredith gravitated toward working directly with clients. As a Portfolio Manager, she enjoys getting to know clients, their families and investment needs. She then works to design and implement a plan to meet those needs. Meredith is a graduate of Boston College’s Carroll School of Management where she majored in Information Systems and Marketing. She received her MBA from the University of San Francisco in 2009.
