December 7, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pmFree
Celebrate the return to the Walnut Creek Library for the final Live! From the Library program of 2021! Come enjoy an evening performance by jazz trio Charged Particles featuring guest tenor saxophonist Tod Dickow as they perform the music of Michael Brecker, one of the most prolific jazz saxophonists, and a few songs of the holiday season.
San Francisco Bay Area based jazz trio Charged Particles has been performing for nearly 30 years and features Murray Low, a keyboard wizard with dazzling Latin-jazz technique and imaginative improvisational skills; Aaron Germain, an inventive and sophisticated acoustic and electric bassist; and fiery drummer Jon Krosnick. These players make some of the most electrifying jazz in the country today. The group has been working with Bay Area tenor saxophonist and in demand sideman Tod Dickow to bring alive Brecker’s music and spirit. The group has performed at venues, festivals, and libraries across the county. Visit their website at chargedparticles.com for more information.
Proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 is required for all guests aged 12 and over. Attendees must show a valid COVID-19 vaccination card or digital vaccine information along with a photo ID.
