Meditation: Experience Joy & Peace in a Troubled World

In recent years, psychologists are noticing a sharp increase in people’s anxiety, insecurity, and distrust. Disruptive technologies; information overload; breakdown of traditional family and community supports; and brutally competitive economic and political trends are upsetting the comfortable certainties of the past. To find peace and serenity while living in such a world, we must learn how to tap into the deep wellsprings of calm, peace and serenity within each of us. This process of turning within is called meditation, and it is available to everyone. Please join psychiatrist Marshall Zaslove, MD, for an entertaining and enlightening workshop on meditation.
