Brad Balukjian

Brad Balukjian is a scientist and sports enthusiast whose books The Wax Pack and The Six Pack explore the worlds of baseball cards and WrestleMania.  A biologist by training, he founded the Natural History and Sustainability program at Laney and Merritt colleges, where he also taught a course on the islands of California. As part of his Ph.D. research, he discovered and described 17 species of plant bugs in Tahiti, one of which he named for Harrison Ford and another for Kamala Harris.
