Brendan Moran

Brendan joined the Walnut Creek Library Foundation Board in 2025. He serves on the Communications Committee, where he brings his experience in community engagement and local policy to support the Foundation’s mission. Brendan is passionate about ensuring Walnut Creek’s libraries remain vibrant public spaces—places that connect people, inspire learning, and strengthen the fabric of the community.

A longtime Walnut Creek resident, Brendan is an enthusiastic supporter of literacy, arts education, and civic participation. In addition to his work with WCLF, he serves on the Walnut Creek Planning Commission and the Board of the Walnut Creek Library Foundation, and is active in several local nonprofit and civic efforts. When he’s not working or volunteering, you can usually find him exploring a new book, attending a local arts event, or spending time with his family.
