Catherine Leutzinger

Catherine Leutzinger believes libraries are the cornerstone of a strong community. A San Francisco native who has called Walnut Creek home since 1994, she and her husband, David, raised their five children in Walnut Creek, all of whom attended public schools. 

She has held many positions in schools, as a librarian and former San Francisco Unified School District teacher. She supports our public libraries in various roles and is currently President of The Friends of the Walnut Creek Library. Catherine enjoys reading, biking, camping, and cooking, and says there's always room at her table for anyone with a good story to tell.
