Lorie Tinfow
President Emeritus
Lorie joined the WCLF Board of Directors in 2021 and has served as Vice President of Communications and President 2023-25. Her love of libraries began early in life and she credits access to public libraries as a young mother for giving her the confidence to attend college as an older student, which changed her life.
Given the importance of libraries in Lorie’s life, she feels fortunate that her city government career included opportunities to expand access to libraries for others as Project Manager for the planning and construction of two libraries: Saratoga Library (opened 2003) and the Walnut Creek Library (opened 2010). She holds degrees from Stanford University and Harvard University. Lorie has lived in Walnut Creek for more than 25 years with her husband, Greg.
