Peter Magnani

A Walnut Creek resident for more than 25 years, Peter Magnani is a retired journalist, teacher, and public relations professional. He joined the board of the Walnut Creek Library Foundation in2010 and currently serves as Vice President for Communications.

Previously, he served on the boards of a number of other nonprofits, including the Western Center on Law and Poverty, the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Foundation (SPUR), the Public Relations Society of America, Drew College Preparatory School, ZYZZYVA, and Tale Spinners Theater. He was appointed to the Walnut Creek Arts Commission in 2024.
