Rimmy Singh

Rimmy Singh has been a Walnut Creek resident since 1993, where she and her husband, Tej, raised their three children, all graduates of Walnut Creek public schools and Las Lomas High School. A retired corporate accountant, Rimmy also served as a dedicated PTA and PTSA volunteer for nearly 20 years locally in support of students and teachers.

Passionate about educational equity, Rimmy, who was born in India, also volunteers with Pratham, a nonprofit that expands access to quality education for underserved children in India. 

Rimmy recently co-chaired the Walnut Creek Library Foundation's auction in 2024 and 2025, combining her love of libraries with her fundraising experience. She also serves on the board of Leftovers Thrift Shop, which supports the Contra Costa Crisis Center, continuing her commitment to strengthening our community.
