Robin Kokemor Rangel

Robin Kokemor Rangel studied history at UC Berkeley and UCLA and earned a Masters in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. An avid reader and library user, she gravitated towards library work as early as high school and has worked since then in a diverse variety of libraries.

Robin has lived in Walnut Creek for over 35 years and served as a volunteer on the campaign to build the downtown library, the Friends of the Walnut Creek Library and the Walnut Creek Library Foundation. Her work with the WCLF Program and Communication Committees allows Robin to put into action her deep-seated beliefs that the library plays a key role in community, advocacy, information, and life-long learning.
