Diablo Valley Guitar Ensemble

Come to the library to enjoy a night of classical guitar music. The DVC Guitar Ensemble consists of 15 students, all playing classical guitar. This evening’s performance will consist of a variety of music, from Bach’s Brandenbug Concerto to George Gershwin’s ‘Summetime’ and even a Led Zepplin classic. Register>

Afternoon with Azucar Con Ache

Join us for an afternoon of Latin Jazz performed by Azucar Con Ache. Azúcar Con Aché is an exciting multicultural ensemble of women based in the San Francisco Bay Area who play Salsa and Latin Jazz style music. The band’s name translates to ‘Sweetness with Powerful Blessings’ and the songs are performed in English, Spanish and Portuguese. The ACA sound combines a spicy creative mix of original compositions with tasty arrangements of standard tunes. Their musical backgrounds are diverse and draw from traditions originating in Africa, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, New York, Cuba and California.
