Kindness Book Club
Sat., May 25 • 11:00 a.m. @ Walnut Creek Library
Join us for a special heartful event with Mindful Littles! What you will do: Read a book on a special kindness theme; Practice heart-centered movements and mindfulness; Do a fun creative art project. Parents/guardians are required with children ages 4-11. ARF’s All Ears Reading
Tues., May 28 • 3:30 and 4:00p.m. @ Ygnacio Valley Library
For children in grades 1-5. Reading with animals is a great way for children who are struggling with reading to improve their skills. Children read aloud for 20 minutes to a dog from ARF’s Pet Hug Pack in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. Sessions begin at 3:30 & 4:00. Register online beginning two weeks in advance. Parents and other family members are asked to wait elsewhere in the library while the reader gets one on one time with their Pet Hug Pack dog. 3:30 PM REGISTER> and 4:00 PM REGISTER>

“Everybody Can Dance” Book Launch

Meet local author Kara Navolio for an impromptu dance party, a reading of her new book, refreshments, and a Q&A session with the audience! Books will be available for purchase and signing. For preschoolers and toddlers.

Wrapping up our out of this world summer is Rick Huddle, a musician extraordinaire.
