CRAFTERNOON: Dia de Los Muertos
Mon., Oct 22 • 4:00 p.m. @ Walnut Creek Library
Join multicultural craft artist Rachel-Anne Palacios who will show us how to make Dia de los Muertos paper crafts in honor of Day of the Dead. Best for kids ages 5 and up and their caregivers. ARF’s All Ears Reading
Tues., Oct 23 • 3:30 & 4:00 p.m. @ Ygnacio Valley Library
For children in grades 1-5. Reading with animals is a great way for children who are struggling with reading to improve their skills. Children read aloud for 20 minutes to a dog from ARF’s Pet Hug Pack in a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. Sessions begin at 3:30 & 4:00. Register online beginning two weeks in advance. “Howl-ooo-ween” Storytime at Lindsay Wildlife

Join Miss Amy for two pop-up storytimes at the Lindsay Wildlife Experience’s “Howl-ooo-ween Spooktacular“. Looking for an opportunity to ask an experienced professional questions about your toddler’s development? Have concerns about your child’s speech, language or social skills? Join us for our All Abilities Playgroup! Hosted by Arezu Moshirian and Kathryn Brodsky of Chit Chat Preschool (Two Speech-Pathologist Moms) who will answer questions while the children have fun, and can offer individualized referral information for a range of community agencies, resources, and parent support organizations. The Playgroup is for all children ages 0-3.  Siblings welcome too.

Circus of Smiles presents: Gravity Defying Circus Show

Join Andrew Quick and Mr. Mustache on a comical circus adventure. They defy the very laws of nature as they juggle, flip, transform into a variety of characters, and make some unbelievable catches. This interactive action-packed romp will leave you in stitches. You’ll walk away thinking “is there anything they can’t juggle!?”  First 100 people will be admitted.
