ARF’s All Ears Reading
Mon., February 11 • 4:00 p.m. @ Walnut Creek Library

The Magic of Chin-Chin

Intertwined with a message of love, acceptance, and self-esteem, Chin-Chin will amaze his audience with an array of astonishing alchemy! Filled with imagination, comedy and audience participation, Chin-Chin aspires to inspire and will manipulate to captivate. .Upstairs in the Oak View Room. Kindergarten Countdown
6-Part Series beginning Mon., March 18 • 4:00 p.m. @ Walnut Creek Library
Registration begins 2/18/2019 at 10:00 AM  (Series Dates: 3/18, 3/25, 4/22, 4/29, 5/20, 6/3)audience participation, Chin-Chin aspires to inspire and will manipulate to captivate. Do you have any children starting kindergarten in the fall of 2019? If so, join us for a series of workshops to help your children learn and practice skills that will help them get ready for kindergarten. Each workshop will feature hands on activities that will reinforce the highlighted skills, and participants will receive a calendar of other activity ideas for continued practice. APRIL

Dinosaurs Rock!
Mon., April 1 • 4:00 p.m. @ Walnut Creek Library
For one day only, the library will transform into a dinosaur museum. Dinosaurs Rock will provide a myriad of museum-quality (many genuine and life-size) dinosaur fossils and other prehistoric related items. Take a look at specimens that are 10,000 to over 500 million years old. Highly interactive, educational, and fun. Best for ages 5 and up. No registration required. First 150 people admitted. 

Family Movie: Trolls
Thurs., April 11 • 4:00 p.m. @ Walnut Creek Library
Trolls is rated PG and has a run time of 92 minutes. Family movies are appropriate for all ages. No registration required. Popcorn is provided. Held upstairs in the Oak View Room.

Mad Science: Crazy Chemistry

Enter the Mad Science lab and experience the elements of chemistry while seeing amazing experiments in action. Watch the Mad Scientist change water to juice, test out a flaming didgeridoo, and create an explosive foam factory, all while learning about acids and bases, exothermic reactions, and basic chemistry! Best for ages 5 and up. No registration required. First 150 people admitted.
